As school districts add technology to classrooms, will Vast meet bandwidth needs?
Students have access to more technology in the classroom than ever before. How will Vast be able to meet our district’s growing need for bandwidth?
As technology continues to take hold in the classrooms, Vast understands the need to “future-proof.” Individual classrooms use more bandwidth now, and Vast can accommodate the rapidly growing demands. From getting fiber connections to every school to making sure schools are future-proofing on their end, we can continue to enrich the educational experience for students because they don’t have a bottleneck on bandwidth. Plus, students won’t have to worry about the dreaded “spinning circle.”
We also know that schools need significant bandwidth for online state testing, and a certain amount of bandwidth must be available per student. Vast Network’s bandwidth-per-student metrics not only meet the state’s goals, but also exceeds them.
In addition to student bandwidth needs, we work with individual school districts to give them connectivity to the county office of education, so that every school can connect back to the district office. We also ensure that services never go down with our “redundant connections.”
