What is different about connectivity for a processing plant?

The failure requirements and the traffic separation, more than the capacity. Control traffic must not contend with business traffic, an outage has a direct production cost, and the design has to answer what happens during a fault rather than only how it performs when everything is intact.

How should we size a circuit for seasonal load?

For the peak period, not the annual average, and plan the failure case for that period specifically. Capacity is straightforward to increase later; discovering during a run that the circuit was sized for the off-season is not the moment to find out.

Can you reach a plant outside town?

Reaching sites other carriers have not built to is core work here. It is an engineered build with a survey and a route, and the review establishes feasibility, cost, and timeline before anything is quoted — including when a build is not practical.

Can plant and office share one network?

Yes, and a point-to-point circuit between them is usually the right shape: a private Layer 2 path carrying production and quality data with no exposure to the public internet, alongside a dedicated internet circuit at whichever end centralises internet access.
