Fiber and Transport for Carriers and Wireless Providers
Dark fiber, wavelengths, and Ethernet transport for carriers, wireless operators, and internet service providers — regional middle-mile capacity across California on a network we own and operate.
Carriers & Wireless Providers runs on the network.
Carriers and wireless operators buy differently from enterprises. The requirement is not a managed service but capacity and reach: strands on a route, a wavelength between two points of presence, or transport that lets a local provider extend service into a community it could not otherwise reach. What matters is route availability, term structure, and whether the operator behind the network can actually deliver on a schedule.
The Vast Networks backbone was built for exactly this. It grew out of a regional middle-mile project spanning 18 California counties, designed to give providers the transport that made local investment viable, and it continues to serve carriers, wireless providers, and ISPs across the state. Route availability is confirmed privately per request; route geometry is not published.
Engineered for the work.
The capabilities our carriers & wireless providers customers rely on every day.
Wireless backhaul
Capacity to cell sites and aggregation points across regional and rural California.
Middle-mile transport
Regional capacity that lets local providers reach interconnection points affordably.
Dark fiber and IRUs
Strand leases and long-term rights of use for operators running their own optical platforms.
Carrier-neutral reach
Transport toward interconnection facilities and data centres.
A starting point, engineered to fit.
The services carriers & wireless providers customers deploy most — every build is designed around your sites, bandwidth, and redundancy.
Dark Fiber
Strand leases and long-term rights of use on available routes.
ExploreWavelength Services
Dedicated optical channels between points of presence and facilities.
ExplorePoint-to-Point
Ethernet transport where a managed handoff is preferable to strands.
ExploreColocation
Space and cross-connects for equipment sitting on the network.
ExploreReliability you can build on.
Owned infrastructure and local engineering — not a reseller routing you offshore.
Privately owned fiber
5,000+ miles of underground fiber engineered in California.
Carrier-grade uptime SLA
Financially-backed service levels on every dedicated circuit.
24/7 local NOC
Monitored around the clock by California-based engineers.
California backbone
Low-latency routes across the Central Valley and statewide.
